Girls' Dormitory Escape - Chapter 129

Chapter 129: Dormitory Friendship League

With elves increasing in difficulty with each appearance, the sooner they capture them, the better.

Everyone understands this principle, but theory is only theory because putting it into practice is a completely different matter.

If the dormitories nearby, feeling threatened by the threat, heard what Tang Xinjue and the others were saying, they'd be pissed: "We want it all! Who wouldn't want it all?" But they couldn't do it!

If they had said the same thing in the same tone, their roommates would probably have thought they'd gone crazy.

But after Tang Xinjue spoke, no one in 606 objected.

Once they made a decision, they would face it head-on, no matter how difficult it was, and never back down.

The roars of the elves mingled with the shouts of the students, and the stench of blood in the air grew stronger with every passing moment, signaling the successful capture of elf after elf.

On the third floor, the shield girl put away her cloak and tore off a Band-Aid, slapping it on her arm.

Ma Xiaobo hesitated, "...Sis, this Band-Aid doesn't seem even bigger than your wound. Will it work?"

Above the billowing cloak, the shield girl's arm, slashed by the elf's claws, bled profusely. The Band-Aid was instantly soaked with blood, yet the girl seemed oblivious.

The shield girl glanced down, her expression unchanged: "I don't have a bandage."

    Ma Xiaobo: "..."

Why could she say that so calmly? Is this the world of the strong?!

He frantically searched his pockets. He had been caught in such a hurry by the elf, and he hadn't brought any medicine. Cautiously, he peered over at the three silent boys on the other side of the balcony, trying to get close:

"Hey, guys, could you lend me some hemostatics? Or a bandage? One of our classmates is injured. Look..."

He had assumed the shield girl's reputation was so great that ordinary students, eager to make friends, would not refuse such a request. However, he was surprised to find that his words were the left hanging in the air, ignored.

While the two boys, cowering against the wall as if standing in a corner, at least glanced at him, the masked man, leaning alone against the railing, didn't even raise an eyelid, just as he'd ignored the elves just before.

"Don't go near them.” Just when Ma Xiaobo was at a loss, the shield girl's voice rang coldly. "They're informants."

    “???!!!”

Ma Xiaobo nearly bit his tongue, backing away so quickly he nearly twisted his back.

Catching the shaky Ma Xiaobo, the shield girl glanced at Yue Qiong.

To her surprise, Yue Qiong had become completely quiet since his defeat with Tang Xinjue over the elves. Even when this wave of elves leaped onto the third floor, he showed no sign of fighting, letting the shield girl take two.

The girl didn't believe he'd be so kind; she suspected he was plotting something.

Yue Qiong's gaze remained cold, unmoved by the scrutiny.

He remained motionless, partly because he was injured, and partly because he feared the girls in 606, especially the toilet plunger.

He couldn't understand why the plunger had been able to attack him, and why the rules of the game didn't stop it... Could it have some special ability, even the ability to cheat the rules?

Invisible to ordinary eyes, a black mist slowly swirled around his heart, like a needle thread moving without wind, as if mending something.

Each of them was thinking their own thoughts, and neither spoke. Only Ma Xiaobo, bewildered and cautious, surveyed the area for a moment. Finally, he couldn't stop his conscience, and he whispered to the shield girl, "How about I go look in your dorm to see if there's any bandages or something?"

Perhaps the elf's scratches were also toxic, but judging by the amount of bleeding, Ma Xiaobo feared she'd bleed to death.

Besides, he probably couldn't help much from the balcony, so he might as well do what he could.

After receiving permission, Ma Xiaobo breathed a sigh of relief and cautiously entered the dorm to begin his search.

At the same time, the remaining elves had already leaped to the sixth floor.

Just as Tang Xinjue had predicted, after the capture of the candidates on the first five floors, there were exactly five remaining elves.

Tang Xinjue and Zheng Wanqing exchanged a glance and leaped forward.

Guo Guo, who had the weakest melee skills, was following the plan in the back. The moment the elves leaped forward with their fangs bared, her eyelids fluttered.

"I don't know how the game got the name, little elves? I think Green-Faced Fanged Monsters would be more appropriate. Does University City really like these things falling from the sky?" She muttered, quickly disassembling the fireworks and attaching them to the lucky bow. Then, gnashing her teeth, she drew the bow.

    Bang!

    All four arrows unleashed!

This was a plan they had just come up with.

These "elves" generally didn't jump onto the same balcony; they were generally spread out far apart. To capture them all simultaneously, they had to find another way to lure them in.

As the elves in the second round grew in strength, their tempers and aggression also soared.

In this situation, aggro points come into play.

Sure enough, the elves struck by lucky arrows roared in anger, their scales rising from their arched backs. Upon realizing their attacker was a small, slender girl, they charged at her with all four claws.

"Their physical strength has indeed increased significantly," Tang Xinjue dispatched one and tightened her cloak. "It's just that their brains haven't caught up yet."

A second elf came crashing down. Tang Xinjue tiptoed on the fence, using the clothesline to throw herself backward, dodging the fangs and claws. She lifted her cloak and quickly covered the two.

The fabric in her hand sank, and two more Elf Balls were in her hand.

    "Two more,"

Zhang You said, looking at the cloak with some concern. It was already heavy with six Elf Balls. Even without the weight, there wasn't much space left for another elf.

Tang Xinjue, however, remained unhurried, swaying the cloak back and forth.

Then, before everyone's eyes, the basketball-sized bulge in the cloak began to shrink rapidly. In less than half a second, it shrank to the size of a bowl. The small pile, huddled together, made the black cloak seem somewhat empty.

"When the number reaches a certain level, these Elf Balls will automatically shrink. After all, we still need the cloak; we have to at least leave some room for survival in the game."

Tang Xinjue used a toilet plunger to push an elf into the balcony. She spun sideways on one knee and swung over the dented head of another elf. Her mental power and cloak simultaneously pressed down, causing the monster to let out a sharp, mournful howl.

Just before she was about to retract it, Tang Xinjue's movements suddenly stopped.

She looked up to see Zheng Wanqing and the other two engaged in combat with another elf that had landed on the balcony. The elf was ferocious and agile, but the experienced trio were no match for them and quickly subdued the monster.

Zhang You was trying to find something to tie up the elf and waited for Tang Xinjue to come down to retrieve it. Suddenly, everything went dark—the cloak, thrown by Tang Xinjue, landed squarely in her hand.

Tang Xinjue said succinctly, "You guys collect them first."

"Why—" Zhang You stopped mid-question, realizing it.

The last remaining elf in each round would automatically mutate and level up.

If Tang Xinjue took the one above first, then the three of them would be the first to face the mutant monster.
